Sunday School Leftovers

Sunday School Leftovers

Do you have a Sunday School class yet? Do you fit with any of our current classes? Rev. Jonathan Brink
has begun a Leftovers Sunday School class, bringing us all together. Want your kids or grandkids to join you for class? That’s okay! We have a class offered for children but if you’d rather have them join us, they’re welcome (noise and all!). We’ll begin our study looking at Questions about Bible History. We’ll be taking a look at the development of our Bible, and how it came to be. We’ll be asking questions such as, “When was the Canon formed? And what is a canon,” in addition to, “Who wrote the different books of the Bible, and how was the story originally spread?” It’ll prove to be a fun class that we’ll begin this fall. All are welcome, but none should feel obligated, particularly if you already have a wonderful Sunday School class you attend.

White Rock Center of Hope

White Rock Center of Hope

This year we are collecting staples like peanut butter & jelly for the needy at White Rock Center of Hope. Any food product like Mac and Cheese, soup, boxed hamburger helper or canned fruit is also needed.
Once every two weeks Sue Bowen, chair of the Outreach Ministry, takes the accumulation of goods to White Rock Center of Hope for distribution to the needy. The folks at WRCH tell us it is of great help to them. Of course you are also welcome to bring food even if you are not a member of the Crusaders Class.
You may leave it in a tub at Tully’s Food Pantry.
